I work closely with product development, marketing, and business development to create business cases for new initiatives, ensuring R&D and commercial activities achieve the right corporate goals.
My high curiosity level allows me to quickly understand the business and identify levers that lead to more profitable operations. I focus on both the revenue-generating elements and expenses, especially COGS.
Working cross functionally, I integrate business information & data to provide solid management and financial reports for better decision making.
I collaborate on the development of strategies to grow organically as well as acquisitively. Having been on the buy side early in my career and the sell side more recently, I create the framework for acquisitions and identify synergies.
I am proactive in working with executive management, venture investors and board members on defining three- to five-year business goals, and keeping those at the forefront of the senior management team. In doing so, I bring a “voice of reason” to company initiatives.
I view the CFO role as a business partner to the President/CEO and management team.
